If the dealer wins one hand and ties the other then the player loses the bet. Since many hands played end up with one winner per side, the hand becomes a push and nobody wins that deal. The aggressive way to play the game is for a player to declare that they will play the dealer for the next hand, which means they are replacing the dealer as the hand that each player and the dealer must beat to win. In order to be the dealer the declared player must be able to cover all of the bets at the table. If a player acts as the dealer for one hand, they can win the bets with a winning hand and a tie hand against all of the other players and the dealer. This is makes it advantages to be the dealer. There are many ways to play the game as far as the betting goes and this can be as simple as a parlay when the cards are rushing for the player. If the player has enough of a stake, they can also run a small progressive bet and hope that the winning hand is dealt before the progression gets to steep to continue.
