Rules for playing Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker can be played for a long time on a small stake as the game has a number of tie hands that have no winner. The game is a seven-card game with all of the players and the dealer each dealt seven cards each. Each player and the dealer then place the best five-card poker hand and the second best poker hand with two cards separated with the two-card hand placed above the five-card hand. In order for the player to win the bet made before the deal, the player must beat the dealer’s hands with their hands. This means that the five-card player hand must beat the dealer’s five-card hand and the same with the two-card hand.

If the dealer wins one hand and ties the other then the player loses the bet. Since many hands played end up with one winner per side, the hand becomes a push and nobody wins that deal. The aggressive way to play the game is for a player to declare that they will play the dealer for the next hand, which means they are replacing the dealer as the hand that each player and the dealer must beat to win. In order to be the dealer the declared player must be able to cover all of the bets at the table. If a player acts as the dealer for one hand, they can win the bets with a winning hand and a tie hand against all of the other players and the dealer. This is makes it advantages to be the dealer.

There are many ways to play the game as far as the betting goes and this can be as simple as a parlay when the cards are rushing for the player. If the player has enough of a stake, they can also run a small progressive bet and hope that the winning hand is dealt before the progression gets to steep to continue.

Another way to play the game is declare to be the dealer when a big better is having a bad run of cards and is losing to the dealer most of the dealt hands. By replacing the house dealer you hope to beat the big better on your hand. Rushes in Pai Gow Poker can last for several hands in a row and there are also bonus Pai Gow Poker tables that will allow a player to make an additional bet in hopes of catching a bonus poker hand like four of a kind or such. This bet is paid no matter the outcome of the two-hand play against the dealer. This is a better game to play as the bonuses can be substantial and you only need to catch one big bonus hand to have a winning session.

Another rule that should be used by a good player is if the dealer is having a very cold run, increase your bet and do not take the dealer’s positions until the dealer’s cold spell ends. The final result of this game is the stake of a player will not usually be hurt much since there are so many tie hands dealt and losing streaks are short lived and there are little rushes of winning hands. However if you play aggressively and take the dealers place on a number of hands, you must be lucky on those hands, as you need to cover the entire table’s bet on the one hand. Pai Gow Poker is a fun game that is usually gentle to play and will not cause a big loss unless the player plunges to often at the wrong time.
